Women are more empowered and educated than ever, however business is still a male dominated domain. What are the obstacles, external or self-imposed, that women still face that prevent them from breaking through as successful business people? The glass ceiling has cracked - now what will it take to shatter the whole thing?

Join ProjectFresh and friends for a day of shared knowledge & movement, fostering wellness from a rejuventating oasis not far from downtown LA. The intention of this Sunday experience is to lead you into a productive week with a clear mind and energized body. This is the first in a series of events that will explore the human experience, and techniques that nurture the mind, body & soul.

Mindshare LA gathers energized people from diverse backgrounds for an evening of inspiration and interaction in Downtown LA. The event starts at 7pm and as the ~400 attendees arrive, they can meet new people while enjoying snacks and a stocked bar. The program begins at 8:30, and consists of three short talks from a variety of disciplines.

Since 2008, The Tuxedo Tyrants have dressed up in their fanciest garb and terrorized numerous neighborhoods of LA, with decadent behavior and tall tales of their exploits. In an effort to win back some community kharma - while still infusing their legendary brand of fancy hedonism - the Tyrants now team up with local charitable organizations to throw fancy fundraisers.

ProjectFresh is proud to invite you to a special screening of Skid Row, "A Tragic True Story Directed by Pras of the Fugees". Proceeds will go to supporting the cause and helping to spread the film's eye-opening message. After the screening there will be a Q+A with special guests.

Join us at the GOOD LA Launch Weekend for urban adventures, DIY workshops, hack-a-thons, civic engagements, artist interventions, resource sharing, literary readings, film screenings, book club meetings, neighborhood walks, and locally-made goods, all at Atwater Crossing, an exciting new creative space in Atwater Village. The weekend is free, but you must RSVP as some events will fill up.

Celebrating 9 years of emerging art & music: liberate your perception! Create:Fixate is an organization dedicated to elevating the importance and accessibility of art and music through education and to providing opportunities for emerging artists to create, perform, and sell their work through mixed medium exhibitions.
