The last (and only) time I was pick - pocketed I was so bummed. I had no access to a bank - as it was Ramadan - so I couldn't leave the unfriendly city I was in. Turned out spending the extra night led to amazing an unexpected debauchery (a personal best) and now that city is on my list as one of the all time favorite cities on earth.
